In the back of large print bible Rbi8-E of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, section 8b of the appendix, you will find a chart showing that by the middle of December in Isreal it is warm enough for vegetation to already be developing. To bad Watctower can't read there own bible!! To much snow in the fields for the shepherds and sheep! Bah humbug.

Another Watchtower Christmas Lie
by gumby inwe all remember one of the arguments the society used to make christmas look bad.. they said christendom at this time of the year, see's jesus as a little baby in a manger (nativity scene), rather than the king in heaven he now is.
that's a lie.. ask any christian on this planet if they think jesus at this time is a little baby in a manger.
if he was, then mary is back on earth taking care of him and herod is out looking to kill him.

Everyone knows why Rutherford banned Christmas, because he didn't get any presents unlike everybody else! See picture in the book" faith on the march". It's obvious that Rutherford bought himself his own presents when everyone was getting them from home.

Dear FairMind: As you proably are aware by my last post that discretion as in being quite is not my way.
I knew full well what I was getting into when I chewed on the Witness who turned me in.
If we remain under their radar in our activities that is a good thing and I did that for 6 years.
When time was right I blew the lid off. I believe that when JW's see others take a very vocal stand it gives the trapped ones more determination to do whats right. Particularly when they look bad it the publics eyes. This is even a better thing.
By the way Linda and I are seeing some very strange JW shunning on this one. Like I am not sure were not getting some sympathy from within the hall. I have even been talked to by one that should be shunning me. Maybe they are to new to know how to shun properly. Or maybe the small town "all eyes on them" thing is really bugging them.

Thanks for the support fellow ex-JWonians. Now as to the remark by Mike Graham " That he walked down this path with his eyes wide open". I just don't know what could have ever given him that idea
In fact I told him on the phone that he was going to have to disfellowship me because I was not going out of the Org through the loyalty question that he posed on the phone. "Do you still consider yourself as one of Jehovah' Witnesses". After they threatened me with a judicial meeting I told them that they weren't following the bible because Mathew 18 says "before the congregation" and that never means just the elders. The Greek word there is ecclesia by definition it is the entire congregation. In fact I told him that If they were going disfellowship me that I was going to the local paper with a letter to the editor! Graham said something to the effect of "I thought that would be the case". I also called him the next day before his sunday meeting and threatened him with "by the way if you just decided not to disfellowship me and just shun me then I will go to the paper anyway. I also stated how much I like the Mark Furhman radio show on JW pedophiles a couple of years ago. I also told him to tell Mike Seiferman that in particular." You see I recognized Mike Siefferman voice on the Mark Furhman recordings on the Silent Lambs Web Site. Mike Siefferman is an elder in the local hall and is good friends with Graham. He also loves Radio talk i.e. Gorden G. Liddy, Rush Limbaugh and the like. He also always wore Rush Limbaugh ties to the meetings.
If you missed the links to the Mark Furhman show on Silent Lambs here they are

Advice, please! Concerning the 2 witness rule
by whyizit inmy friend, who is not yet baptised in the wt, but is well on her way and very defensive of the wt, kind of led me into a conversation about how there has to be two witnesses for immoral acts, etc....(i guess someone recently got caught with another guy's wife, and it took a little detective work, because there has to be 2 witnesses.
) i brought up child molestors.
what does the wt do in those cases?

Mr Rocky
The two witness rule is not the problem!!!!!!!!! What is the Problem is that the elders try to stop the victim from going to the police. The law has different rules as to determine guilt. The State uses DNA, eye witness and other. If the elders only used their rules for in house salvation issues nothing would be wrong. But they have always wanted to determine first if a person was guilty before anybody went to outside help. This is done so that if they are trully working with a bad person then they could disfellowship him first. Wheather or not that's a lying victim or a lying perpetrator. Then they could say that he wasn't a Witness anymore when it became public knowledge. This protects their image.
The rub comes in when new science comes into play like DNA coupled with Watchtower not caring to understanding the difference between salvation and crime. For that matter the difference between Church and State as brought out by the book "God verses the Gavel". By the time the elders get done playing their little Org protection game the victim has lost this DNA evidence. Also if for any number of reasons the elders decide that the victim doesn't have biblical support the elders interfear by threatening disfellowshipping the victim. This amounts to aid and abetting the criminal activity in my opinion.
The two witness rule only becomes a problem when the Org crosses the line from it being an in house salvation issue and the rights of a victim in a criminal case.
Answer to the problem-
Victims need to go to the police first where they will be helped get justice from the latest science. Later the elders can decided who was right or wrong before god. And to hell with the reputation of Watchtower!!!!

I posted this yesterday in Friends but it never showed up in Friends. Without a link it died a very fast death in Active Topics. I have reason to believe this link will be gone very soon. View it while you can! We have had good feed back from local people. They still stop us and give encouragement even after more than two months later.
Some of these locals tell us that it isn't right for religion to come between family while others find it unbelievable that they disfellowshipped us for speaking up for children.
No one has spoken in disfavor of us to this point. I believe that this is the case because,as Mark Furman infered in his interview with Linda and Barb, someone who would not be against pediophiles is the same as one.

The aftermath of this article has been wonderfull. Even after two months the local people are still talking about it. Most say that they are proud of us for standing up for what is right. They also affirm that a religion should never get between family or have that kind of power. Also that it is pretty low life religion that shuns somebody when he or she is trying to help children.
